I'm so...Peyton was a lucky boy to call you dad. I'm sorry for your loss. I tried to kill myself when I was 12. Tired of getting beat up by my dad and ostracized by my family until I healed. I remember knowing that death would stop the pain. My other thought was that I would be able to "see" everyone grieving my death (and that would be my vengeance). But, there would have been no organs given, no tears shed, no keeping my name alive. (I have a step sister who was three when I left home to live with my aunt and uncle. 25 years later I found out that she had no clue I even existed. Can you say dysfunctional?) Anyway, God has been very good to me. I live a blessed life and try to show others the Way of Christ. I don't know why I'm telling you this, except to say that even though Peyton had his demons, he was a lucky boy to have your love. Thank you for making his young life keep mattering by donating his organs and keeping his spirit alive. May God bless you and keep you. We didn't see it coming at all. Your son sounds like such an interesting boy. I know many boys at the middle school I work at would have found him to be a kindred spirit. I wish he had found his group of like-minded friends. In Peyton's honor, I made some crochet hearts and placed them around the State Fair of Texas yesterday. :) Sending you a big hug. Thank you for sharing Peyton with us.Debbie Meyerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13336400645255173433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8931590941583302056.post-68836360987536750622015-10-13T14:48:28.378-07:002015-10-13T14:48:28.378-07:00When I get to heaven, or IF I get to heaven after ...When I get to heaven, or IF I get to heaven after I touch base with my husband and loved ones, I am going to find Peyton.....I want to look into those beautiful blue eyes and tell you, what a difference you have made in so many lives, and how well your Father has kept your memory alive.....Peyton, you are amazing....Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10263812382076546189noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8931590941583302056.post-80049135969465033242015-10-13T12:09:48.203-07:002015-10-13T12:09:48.203-07:00God be with you and your family today and always a...God be with you and your family today and always as you celebrate the life of your son on such a difficult day.
